“Hannah has been an excellent tutor for my daughter, Sophia, for GCSE maths.
We started with tutoring as Sophia was struggling with her year 10 maths and wants to ensure she gets a good grade in her GCSEs. I've been very impressed with the professionalism and tailored approach. I had an initial call to discuss what we want from the tutoring then Sophia had an assessment after which she began the tutoring sessions.
Sophia gelled straight away with Hannah and actually really enjoys the sessions which is a first for her with maths! She has been set a structured plan and began achieving her goals after a short period of time. Hannah provides updates with goals, achievements, areas for improvement and learning strategies and then an action plan for the following month.
Most importantly after a year of tutoring, Sophia still enjoys and looks forward to the lessons. Hannah is friendly and approachable and as she is currently studying at university she is able to be empathic and understanding about the challenges of exams.
Sophia has gone from a grade 2 in her school assessments when we began and is now predicted a 5/6 in her GCSEs.”
