“Hi! I’m Lovisa, a Philosophy, Politics, and Economics student at the University of Oxford. I completed my International Baccalaureate Diploma in Mattldens Gymnasium in southern Finland where I am from, hence the Finnish graduation cap on the picture. I graduated with 44 points in the IB with the highest grade in higher level Economics, Politics and Swedish A as well as standard level Physics and Mathematics.
During my time in the IB I was tutoring younger students for CAS, and during my gap year I continued working as a private tutor for 7 different girls, as well as substitute teacher in my middle and elementary school where I taught full classes of students. During these experiences I have learned how to approach a problem that a student finds particularly challenging, and how to explain everything from languages to mathematics.
I truly enjoy helping students in the IB navigate the experience by sharing what I learned during my studies and I am passionate about aiding people fulfil their full potential and goals.”

“Hi I’m Lottie! I am currently studying English BA at The University of Exeter, in my third year. I have experience tutoring GCSE and A Level, with my students showing great improvements across our lessons.
I can also tutor the International Baccalaureate which I completed in Sixth Form, in which I achieved high results in English, Psychology and History at higher level.
Recently, I completed an English Teaching programme working with all key stages, from primary school to sixth form, and in all ranges of abilities, which gave me additional classroom experience and advice from experienced teachers.

I understand the GCSE and A-Level course and what the exams are looking for, and I’m confident in explaining things clearly and breaking down questions so they feel much less overwhelming.
I like to adapt to different learning styles, so our sessions can focus on exactly what you need help with, whether that’s your exam technique, analysis, or improving your writing skills.”

“I’m Karolina and I am a 3rd Year Mathematics student at the University of Warwick.
I am an enthusiastic and well-equipped tutor, having supported many students at Explore Learning, where I worked for over a year.
This summer, I also completed a Teaching Internship at Redborne Upper School, where I assisted with A Level Maths lessons.
I enjoy making maths approachable and exciting, especially for young girls, and I take inspiration from my own teachers, who helped me achieve 3 A*s at A level, including Maths and Further Maths.”

“Hi! I'm Snehal, a Biomedical Science student at the University of Birmingham. I completed my GCSEs and International Baccalaureate at Tonbridge Grammar School.
I have over two years of experience tutoring Maths and English to children aged 5-17 at Kumon, working with more than 60 students weekly. During this time, I developed a strong ability to break down complex topics, adapt lessons to individual learning styles, and help students build confidence and improve their academic performance.

“I’m Ellie, and I’m a second-year Theoretical Physics student at Swansea University. I achieved 4 A*’s at A-Level, and 12 iGCSEs to a Grade 9.
I have extensive experience working with children and young people of all ages, both as an academic tutor and as a sports mentor. I’m passionate about helping everyone I teach reach their full potential and most importantly enjoy the learning process along the way. I’ve really enjoyed working with students, often from a base knowledge all the way through to them being confident in their skills, and seeing my students thrive always puts a smile on my face.
Having struggled with concentration myself at school, I understand that everyone learns differently. I take pride in tailoring my lessons to suit a wide range of learning styles, making sure each session is engaging, supportive, and built around the student’s individual needs.

“Hi, I’m Megan! I’m currently in my final year studying English Literature at the University of Warwick and on track to achieve a 1st class degree.
I achieved 9s in both English Language and English Literature at GCSE level and recently helped my sister and cousin with their exam preparations, so am very familiar and up to date with the exam board.I also attained a high score in the International Baccalaureate, which I undertook in sixth form, and achieved highly in my higher-level subjects: English Literature, Latin, and Philosophy.
I enjoyed tutoring GCSE students whilst at school, as well as engaging with a Creative Writing and English teaching programme with secondary school students in my second year at university.
I love getting to know my students and adapting learning to fit their needs. English Literature can feel tricky or boring at school, but I promise I can make it interesting and fun!”

I have more than two years of experience of working with young people in educational settings. My most notable is working as a Programme Coordinator, managing 130+ international summer school for students aged 16-18, at the University of Oxford. This included dedicating 70 hours a week to creating a diverse learning environment. I’ve dedicated a lot of my time to developing the confidence and need for knowledge and learning in young people.

“Hi, my name is Erin! I am a third-year psychology student at the University of Bristol. I have loved studying psychology since I started at A level where I achieved an A*.
I am now very passionate about cognitive neuroscience and through my time at uni, I have learnt the importance of breaking down complex concepts into clear explanations.
