Meet Some Of Our Team:
Hannah Smith
“My journey from an all-girls school that instilled relentless self-belief to attending the University of Exeter has taught me that the space in which you learn shapes what you believe you can achieve.
Tutoring is not just about knowledge transfer. It's about building intellectual resilience. As a student through COVID, I mastered self-directed learning to earn 7 grade 9s at GCSE, then pursued the IB Diploma (scoring 42/45). This program rewired how I learn by forcing me to engage with global perspectives, not just to memorise them. I want to transfer that belief to my students, equipping them with the tools not to tackle exams but to understand and believe in their studies.
In a world of overwhelming syllabi and high-stakes exams, my students don’t just survive, they thrive. All because we believe true learning isn’t about memorisation, it’s about understanding how to think.”

“Hey, my name is William, and I am a student at the University of Warwick! I am currently in my second year of undergraduate studies, and I am pursuing a degree in history and politics.
My academic journey was far from perfect - initially, I struggled with exams, and I found revision tedious. But with guidance from my teachers, who instilled a great deal of confidence in me and who taught me more efficient, engaging and effective methods of revising, the results started to come. I firmly believe that low grades are not a sign of low intelligence; it simply means you have not realised the best way of using your brain. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and guidance with others and helping my pupils unlock their full potential.
Whilst I am dedicated to improving my pupils’ results in the short term, I am also committed to preparing my students for the world beyond GCSES and A-levels. As a humanities student, critical thinking is at the heart of what I do, and these are skills I want to help my students develop, equipping them with the tools to navigate complex topics, analyse and evaluate different viewpoints and information, and enhance communication skills. In an ever-changing world, the ability to think critically has never been more vital.”
